Reliable as always

This was my third time using 12Go, and they didn't disappoint. I booked an intercity bus ticket in Thailand, and the experience was consistent with my previous train and ferry bookings. The site is easy to navigate, and confirmation came within a few hours. I always appreciate how straightforward it is compared to other platforms. It just works, every time, which is why I keep coming back. Even when I needed to check a detail, their support was quick to respond, which is a big plus.

So happy with my ferry!

I used 12Go for a Koh Samui ferry transfer and it was perfect! The booking was super simple, and everything went smoothly on the day. No stress at all, which is great when you're traveling. I will definitely use them again for future trips and recommend them to all my friends!

Got my Shinkansen tickets

Needed to get Shinkansen tickets for my trip in Japan. Decided to try 12Go after a friend mentioned it. The site was pretty simple to use, which was nice. Found the route I wanted, paid, and got the confirmation. It took about a day for the actual tickets to be ready, which felt a tiny bit long, but it all worked out. Printed them out, and off I went. Pretty chill experience overall, no drama.

Good deal on bus tickets

I was looking for the cheapest way to get from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and found 12Go. Compared a few sites, and their price for the VIP bus seats was the best I could find. It was only a few dollars difference, but every little bit helps when you're on a budget. The booking process was straightforward, and I received the e-ticket without any issues. Felt like I got good value for my money, especially since the bus was comfortable enough for the long ride. Happy with the savings.

Is 12Go better than Klook for booking trains in Japan, specifically Shinkansen tickets? Or is there another good option?

T Troy S. 2 months ago
For Shinkansen, 12Go is totally fine, but I've also used Klook and they're both pretty similar price-wise once you factor in fees. Sometimes one will have slightly better availability for specific trains. Honestly, I'd just check both for your dates.

I usually compare between 12Go and Baolau for Southeast Asia. For Japan, I just stick with the official JR site if I can, but if I'm bundling other stuff, 12Go works. Klook is also good, it just depends on which interface you prefer. Prices are usually pretty close across them all, afaik.

How long does it usually take for them to confirm tickets? I booked a ferry for Bali but it's still showing as pending.

B Brett 2 months ago
It varies, sometimes it's instant, other times it can take a few hours or even a day, especially if it's for something less common or if you booked late at night in their timezone. I've had it take up to 24 hours before for a train in Vietnam.

For ferries and buses, usually pretty quick, like within an hour or two. Flights or more complex routes might take longer. If it's been more than a day, I'd probably check their customer support contact info.

Thinking of booking a bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai for Songkran, but I'm worried about prices or availability. Do they usually have sales around that time?

J Julia 2 months ago
Songkran is a super peak time, man. Honestly, prices probably won't drop, and availability goes fast. I'd book ASAP if you want a specific time or seat type. They might have a 'Songkran special' but it's usually just a small percentage off, like 5-10% if you're lucky, not a huge discount.

Yeah, don't wait for a sale for Songkran. Those dates are crazy busy. Better to snag your tickets now if you can. Maybe check if there's a first-time user discount or something small like that, but don't expect big Black Friday-level deals.

Can I use multiple promo codes on 12Go? I have a referral code and I think I saw something about an app-only discount.

M Mark 3 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code at a time. I tried combining a referral with an app one last year and it wouldn't let me. Pick the one that gives you the most off.

My experience is no, they usually say codes can't be combined. Just enter it on the checkout page before you pay and see which one works best. The app-only ones sometimes pop up as notifications.

Hey has anyone used 12Go for booking tickets in Thailand? Trying to figure out if they're legit or if I should just try to book at the station when I get there.

J Josh Okafor 2 months ago
Yeah I've used them a bunch for trains and ferries in Thailand and Vietnam. Never had an issue, got all my tickets without problems. It's way easier than trying to book in person, especially for popular routes.

They're legit. I always use their app. It's usually a small service fee but totally worth it to not stress about booking when you're there. Just make sure to read the specific instructions for getting your physical ticket if it's a train, sometimes you pick it up at a specific counter.
